We continually support the Congolese government to extend and consolidate state authority within the various Government of DRC, donor and UN development frameworks - for example, the Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper 2 (PRSP), the Provincial Priority Plan (PAP), the Integrated Transitional Framework and UNDAF (UN Country Team-Government of DRC).
Our programme is the essential bridge towards strengthening the Government of DRC with UN agencies and key development partners, which is a fundamental aspect of MONUSCO’s future exit strategy. We offer training sessions on local governance, dissemination of laws and key state programs, planning and budgeting and other public administration competencies, transparent and participatory decision-making and facilitate the creation of coordination structures for recovery.
